MOU SIGNED BY KAHER WITH ATMA FOR ACADEMIC AND COLLABORATIVE RESEARCH

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between KAHER’s Shri B.M.Kankanawadi Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya & Hospital, Belagavi and Alva’s Traditional Medicine Archieve (ATMA) & Research Centre, a wing of Alva’s Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Moodubidire Dakshina Kannada for the collaborative research activities  on 1^st April 2023.

The collaboration will strengthen the future research activities, confirming its sustainability and bringing together the good outcome in the field of intra and inter-disciplinary research, Ayurveda Medical Education, Panchakarma Drug Formulation, Design and Development, Faculty and Student exchange program for the mutual benefit by utilizing the expertise and existing infrastructure.  This MoU will also impart training on research areas and its applications to the students of BMK Ayurveda College which will enhance the quality of education for the students and add value to the course curriculum. It will also provide an opportunity to the students, scholars and faculty members to carry out research and PG / PhD studies in the field of education / research program / faculty / student exchange / academic programs and BMK Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya will provide a suitable platform for all these.

In the august presence of Prof. (Dr). Nitin M.Gangane Vice-Chancellor and Prof.(Dr).V.A.Kothiwale, Registrar, KLE Academy of Higher Education & Research (KAHER) Belagavi, the MOU was exchanged between Dr.Vinay Alva, Managing Director, Alva’s Health Centre Moodubidire Dakshina Kannada and Dr. Suhas Kumar Shetty, Principal & Medical Director, KAHER’s Shri.B M K Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya & Hospital, Belagavi.

Dr.Farhan Zameer, Chief Scientific Officer, ATMA, Dr.P.G.Jadar.  Dean/Vice-Principal, Dr. Giridhar Vedantam Research Dean, KAHER’s Shri. B M K Ayurveda College & Hospital Shahapur Belagavi were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nitin M.Gangane Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, KAHER Belagavi informed that this collaboration will strengthen the academic, research and student-faculty exchange activities of both the institutions.
